The fear of robots is as old as the cave paintings of France, or thereabouts.  The ancient Greeks hated them, and coined a word for their antipathy: automatonaphobia, meaning, literally, “the fear of robots.”  And since ancient times, robots have done little to calm our fears, wreaking havoc in virtually every historic account we have of them.

Human society in the modern age increasingly accepts robots as the Helpers of Mankind –yet despite this unfounded trust, there are a few of us who still keep our eye upon the ball socket as it were.  When robots finally take over, it will be no laughing matter.  And as it stands, they have already established an insidious reach into nearly every aspect of the modern media.  And so we must take our resistance underground.

Let no one say we took the robot menace lightly.  Nevertheless, in order to preserve our control of this robot-governed website, we must program ourselves to laugh hilariously, thus throwing the robots off (they have yet to develop either sense of humor or irony).

Please enjoy this website sparingly.  We do not wish to attract undue attention.  But as you enjoy it sparingly, really enjoy it.  Robots!  Laugh out loud!  But quietly, please.
